1987 BMW M6 E24 Shark Clean, California Car $10k in Recent Upgrades ...... please be patient while the many photos load..... Tidy 1987 BMW M6 E24 Shark for sale. Finished from the factory in Schwarz Black with Silvergrey Nappa leather. In 1987 Road and Track featured the U. M6 as one of the 10 fastest cars in America. With only 1,632 built to U. specification, its no surprise these sharks have become so collectible over the last few years. This M6 starts runs and drives nicely. It 3.5L L6 FI DOHC runs smoothly, has excellent shifting, suspension and braking. $10,000 in recent upgrades late last year include new mufflers, new clutch, pilot bearing and lightweight 240mm flywheel; new engine control unit chip, short shift kit, front and rear chassis spring set, transmission mount, Michelin Pilot tires, battery, and recent oil, transmission, differential fluids along with new belts. After 30 years the car still shows well. The body is totally rust-free with solid, original floors and rockers; the paint has a nice shine to it, the trim, glass, lenses and externals are quite presentable. The car sports the original BBS wheels wrapped in a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires replaced last September about 100 miles ago, P255/40ZR 17s in the rear with P235/45ZR 17s up front. Looks to have had one respray of the Schwarz black at some point. All factory body vin decals are in place. Good looking car, plenty of curb appeal and very, very straight. The interior has excellent seating, panels, carpet, and gauges. The dash has a cover on it due to the typical cracking we see on this era of BMW. The rear sunshade hooks will need replacing in order to keep the shade in the up position. At this time the computer to the right of the stereo is not hooked up. The power seats are in good working order though the power headrests are currently inoperable. A/C blows but isnt cold. Otherwise, the car is very comfortable and presentable. All the options, new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on 18 v-spoke rims, leather, poplar wood trim, power front seats, driver side has dual position memory, heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors, heated washer jets, auto dual climate control, auto head lights, navigation, bluetooth, CD/DVD, iPod adaptor, HD radio, ABS, Anti rollover, DSC. The car runs and drives like a dream. The twin scroll turbo 6 cylinder has been chipped by BMW to 320 HP (PPK 1 — 20 HP over stock). Automatic with a 7 spd dual clutch transmission with paddle shifters. Top is a year old - the rear defogger wasnt working, BMW replaced whole top to fix. Less than 32,500 miles, most mileage from highway commuting. There are a couple barely noticeable dings on passenger side of car. Car is in great shape and perfect mechanical condition.
